Binny Kalra is a practitioner of intellectual property laws. Her current practice focuses on intellectual property advice and domestic and international trademark prosecution, while she continues to supervise the firm’s civil commercial litigation and dispute resolution strategy.
In a previous role where she was a senior partner and head of litigation, Binny regularly appeared before Indian courts for over two decades, during which time she was a part of several path-breaking cases for IP jurisprudence.
She has advised numerous multinational and domestic companies in their enforcement and legal strategy in India, collaborated with numerous reputed international law firms in multi-jurisdictional disputes and has provided critical risk assessment and mitigation advice, including in sensitive POSH cases. Her clients currently include Brown Forman, Qualcomm, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Del Monte Fresh, IndiGo Airlines, Godrej & Boyce, King Koil, Oberoi Hotels, among others. She has also served as an arbitrator on the INDRP panel for two terms.
